1. INTRODUCTION

   Voglia.it explains how it complies with the GDPR as harmonized, through Legislative Decree 101/2018, with the Italian Privacy Code when you visit the website and use its services. The data controller is Mr. Ferrando Gorin Alberto who you can contact at the following email: info@voglia.it and the website's data center is located in Italy, therefore no data processed by it is transferred outside the European Union. When you connect from voglia.it to other sites or you connect from other sites to voglia.it (even if non located in European spaces) please read carefully their privacy policies and check whether your data is processed within the European Union or outside its borders, so that you understand whether you will be afforded the necessary data protection guarantees (infra n. 6) or not. 2. WHAT DATA VOGLIA.IT DOES PROCESSES

   Voglia.it does not process any personal data during his surfing (except those that the data controller may process when the data subject contacts him at his e-mail address). Voglia.it’s use does not require a registration form on the site itself or any newsletter subscription nor is required any form of payment that could track the data subject's personal data or store their ID. Voglia.it processes direct browsing data such as: IP addresses, login data, browser type and version, operating system, referrals (i.e. any links through which the data subject accesses to voglia.it), the platform used to access the website, session data relating to the duration of the visit and the browsing path and interactions with the website (such as clicks on links, views of specific content, etc.). Browsing data is necessary for the use of web services; without this data you would not be able to determine a technical connection between the device you use and the website you visit. Voglia.it also processes indirect data through cookies, it just uses technical data (for specific information, v. infra n. 7 and the Cookie Policy). If data are transferred outside the European Union cause voglia.it’s needs, the data controller will apply the available SSCs in any relationships, for example, between voglia.it data controller and the data processor(s) located outside the European Union, or, in general, in the event of data transfers outside the European Union.

3. DATA RETENTION

   Voglia.it does not retain any type of data, processing it only for for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing (infra n. 4). Therefore, once you have finished surfing through their service, they will not be retained and processed; in fact, since it’s only about surfing data, they will not be retained for any profiling or marketing purposes (in compliance with the guidelines of the Privacy Guarantor's order of 2024).

4. PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING

   The purposes of voglia.it's data processing are closely related to its nature. For this reason, since it has the basic functionality of a web search engine (non exactly a metasearch engine), these purposes are exclusively the aggregation of various search options based on the initial query typed in the main search space. The search method offered by voglia.it is based on a granular choice, immediately available on the home page where various search engines, direct links to search engines and databases, direct links to artificial intelligence tools, and direct links to social networks are configured. As reported at the top left of the home page and under “cos'è voglia.it" heading, theses tools are used offering to the data subject the opportunity to use a service that make easy their analytical ability to choose which tool using for their searches and to improve its own data awareness and data sharing.

5. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

   The processing of browsing data for the aforementioned purposes is based on
   1) the data subject's consent to the use of their browsing data (even though it’s not about strictly personal data), as provided for in Article 6 (a) of the GDPR and
   2) the data controller's legitimate interest useful for proper functioning of the service offered, given that, not strictly processing personal data, the data controller interest does not overbear the interests, rights, or freedoms of the data subjects, as regulated by Article 6 (f) of the GDPR.

6. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

   Dealing specifically (ut supra n. 2) with navigation data (in any case relating to natural persons), and personal data of those who may contact the data controller as well, voglia.it cares to pay attention to the security and privacy of its data subjects and therefore emphasises the possibility for the data subject to request the data controller the following, as regulated by GDPR art. 15 up to art. 22:

   • access to one's own data, in order to request its actual data retention;
   • any rectification in case of suspicions of pollution produced by cybercrime activities;
   • the data deletion if stored for an unreasonable length of time (ut supra n. 3);
   • the restriction of the processing of personal data or opposition to data processing, as well as the right to data portability;
   • the management of the specific consent about automated decision-making where there is a need to do so.

   At any time the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, specifically the Privacy Guarantor. The data subject has the right to access personal data processed by voglia.it by contacting the data controller via email: info@voglia.it, who will respond to the request in compliance with the national and European regulations referred to here.

7. COOKIES

   As previously mentioned (ut supra n. 2), voglia.it also processes indirect data through cookies, specifically those necessary for the functioning of the site, such as keeping the browsing session open and the data subject logged during he’s browsing, storing basic preferences such as language and region (such data are not considered useful for profiling), ensuring, e.g., uninterrupted browsing by storing information useful for moving from one page to another without having to log in each time, and allowing the data subject to access restricted areas without having to re-enter their username and password each time (even if this specific tool is not currently available). Voglia.it’s exclusive use of technical cookies means it doesn’t have to insert and use the granular consent banner for the use of cookies.    The security of your information is important to voglia.it, which is why it is committed to protecting your data in order to guarantee its confidentiality, integrity and availability, as well as its security under the control of the voglia.it data processor authorised to act as system administrator. Since the prevailing digitalisation of every human space makes it increasingly difficult (and impossible) to guarantee total security of information, we ask you to always be careful about the internet connections you use (we always advise against connecting using public Wi-Fi) and the searches you carry out, making sure that the sites or pages -you connect via voglia.it to- guarantee security systems and complied forms of protection of the data subject privacy.
