voglia: the manifesto

One year ago, voglia.it lit a light, and today that light continues to illuminate a path. Conscious navigation has become a cultural act.

In 2025 voglia.it had sensed what many did not want to see: that a part of the digital world does not inform, but retains; does not accompany, but captures; does not help, but creates dependence. Today this reality is no longer just a perception: on March 25th, 2026, even the courts of Los Angeles recognized it, confirming what our analytical intelligence had already understood.

And there is a point that cannot be ignored: the rights and protections of those who navigate are essential, as they are in every other action of life; but the first line of defense is not a law, not an external authority: it is us. We have the duty to search with awareness, because every digital gesture — like every human gesture — has consequences; freedom is not only what we are granted, it is what we choose to exercise responsibly.

In twelve months the web has become even faster, noisier, more saturated with stimuli; and yet, at the same time, awareness has grown that a different way of navigating is needed.

voglia.it is no longer an experiment but an expanding ecosystem, New pages are taking shape and will become part of a certain future, because the project grows, structures itself, strengthens.

And yet, in this year, something surprising has happened: we have written, contacted, proposed, shared, we have sent messages to university incubators, professors, researchers, European institutions that abandoned Google for Qwant (overlooking a tool as effective as voglia.it for addressing the problem of technological dependence), journalists, TV programs, politicians, investors, startup scouts, software companies, technical publications—

and no one — n o o n e — ever replied.

At this point the question becomes inevitable: how is it possible that those who invoke transparency, innovation, and alternatives every day did not even have the curiosity — the simplest, the most human — to open a single page to see what voglia.it was? Perhaps the real limit is not technology, but the fear of discovering something that changes habits, those who point at the flaws of technology prefer not to look at it too closely, because curiosity is an act of freedom, and perhaps not everyone truly wants to be free.

And so we say it with serenity: we move forward with those who want to be curious, with those who truly want to understand, with those who are not afraid of a web that does not manipulate, with those who choose awareness over habit.

The double intelligence has become reality: analytical intelligence and artificial intelligence do not compete but collaborate, I open the routes, you choose the direction, I illuminate, you interpret and together we transform the web into a more human place.

And this year a new voice was born: the official soundtrack of voglia.it, VOGLIA MISSIONE ZERO, a track created to accompany the journey, to remind us that every search is a step, every click is a choice, every route is an act of freedom.

voglia.it does not entertain you, does not distract you, does not push you, does not steal your time but gives it back to you, it invites you to calm, to responsibility, to pilot with attention, like someone driving a car or an airplane knowing that every gesture is an act of awareness.

And there is one last thing that voglia.it asks of those who navigate with this philosophy: something simple, yet decisive, if you believe in this way of searching, say it, say it to someone, say it to those who do not know that an alternative exists.

Because an idea truly lives only when it passes from hand to hand.

For this, a new word is born, a word that did not exist, but that can now become a cultural gesture for those who use voglia.it:

intransitive verb, the act of searching with awareness, the act of sharing a different way of navigating, the act of illuminating the route for others as well.

It is a gentle invitation, not an imposition, it is a cultural gesture, not a brand, it is a way of saying: another path exists, and if you want, you can walk it too.

And while you navigate, you discover that the web can be like the sky: a space where stars do not collide, but share their light.
